Join Project Hope International and support Lewinsville Presbyterian Church and Mclean communities on Sunday, June 5 for the First-Ever Lewinsville 5K and Fun Run starting at 8:00 a.m. The race will be one of several activities and events celebrating Lewinsville’s 175th Year Anniversary and the reopening of the newly renovated education building. Our volunteers assemble care packages for troops deployed. We shipped our 35 boxes to Chaplains in Africa, Poland, Kuwait, Iraq, a US Navy ship in the South China Sea, a US Navy ship deployed in the Middle East, and to the Wounded Warrior Recovery Unit in Georgia. The joy and love at this gathering always makes it such a pleasure to be there, especially when you know your work has a greater purpose.

The homeless are among the most vulnerable to COVI

The homeless are among the most vulnerable to COVID-19. This pandemic has reinforced how fortunate we are to have an abundance of basic human needs such as food, shelter, safety, and family. At times like this, we need to take care of each other and particularly our neighbors who are the most vulnerable.

We need your support! Please donate any amount and help us achieve our goal of 200+ care packages. Our first event is December 23rd and the second is on January 30th.

*Every package will have a thank you note with the first name and or company name of a donor filled out by our volunteers.

@redcrossclub.georgetown at @georgetownuniversity together with @projecthopeinternational we assembled Winter Preparedness kits for our homeless living in the District of Columbia. All 250+ bags were passed out in the pouring rain last Saturday in under one hour. We also created holiday cards for our veterans and made blankets.
Grateful to all the volunteers, their friends and family for coming out and giving their time for others.
